Trainer Kenny Barrett

Kenny Barrett had a successful amateur boxing career in New England during the late 60's and 70's and knows the value of being involved in athletics as a youth.

Since moving to Florida in 1992 Kenny got involved in training his son Mike to box amateur at the old JCC gym in Plantation and became a volunteer coach for the amateur boxing team and also got involved in training local pro fighters, contenders and world champions.

It's been a full-time commitment owning a gym, promoting boxing shows, serving on the board of directors for Florida Gold Coast/USA Boxing as JO Chairman, Vice President and a four year term as President of FGC Assoc. I love it" say's Barrett. "I'll do this till the day I die"
